WHO IS THE C&MA?

The Christian & Missionary Alliance has been worshipping and working together since the late 1800's. Dr. A.B. Simpson, the founder of the C&MA, had a vision to train young men and women so they could communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

The Alliance is "unique" because it is not a spin-off from another denomination. Rather, it is an alliance of people from several denominations - coming together for the sole purpose of reaching the world with the gospel. 

God has used the initial efforts of Dr. Simpson over the past 120 years to establish over 2000 churches in the U.S and Canada. In addition, over 18,000 churches have been established overseas with the help of our 1200+ missionaries placed in more than 60 countries. Over 3 million believers meet and worship God in Alliance churches, worldwide. The cornerstone of our National Office building in Colorado Springs is a visual reminder of our roots. It was first laid at the Gospel Tabernacle in New York City in 1889.
